Murchison Falls National Park is the largest, oldest and the most visited National Park in Uganda. The park covers approximately 3,840 square kilometers (1,480
square miles).

The park is located in the Northwestern part of the country. It is named after the dramatic Murchison Falls, where the Nile River explodes through a narrow gorge and plunges into the Devil’s Cauldron, creating a stunning and powerful waterfall
that you will encounter in this 7 days adventure.

During the 7 Days Wildlife Adventure in Uganda, you will be able to proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Queen Elizabeth National Park was gazetted in 1954 and named so after the visit of the Queen of England in Uganda.

The park was named in her memory and honor of the queen. It is now the second most visited park in Uganda. Get prepared to enjoy activities such boat cruise and game drives at the park. You will be able to spot animals like lions, elephants,
buffaloes, Uganda Kob, Warthogs, hippos among others.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park holds 50% of the World’s mountain gorilla. The park was gazetted in 1991 and described as a UNESCO heritage site in 1994.

Details of the 7 Days Wildlife Adventure in Uganda

Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park and a hike to the top of the falls

The safari starts on the 23rd of August 2025. Wake up very early in the morning around 5:00 am and have breakfast. Our experienced driver guide will pick you from Kampala.

Drive to Murchison Falls National Park. That same day you will enjoy an amazing activity of hiking to the top of the falls. Experience the breathtaking point of the park. Take enough picture as you enjoy the adventure.

Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise

Have a morning game drive by 6:00am. Spot animals like elephants, Uganda Kob, buffaloes, giraffes, warthogs among others. After lunch from your lodge, embark for the afternoon boat cruise. Enjoy the and take enough pictures. Spot the aquatic animals in the river including other animals at the riverbank and the different bird species.

Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Masindi

Have early morning breakfast and pick your packed lunch. Drive to Kaniyo pabidi for chimpanzee trekking in Budongo forest. You will have a short briefing as you embark for chimpanzee tracking. Afternoon drive to Masindi town, check into the lodge and relax.

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Enjoy the morning breakfast. By 6:00 am, embark for a country drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Reach the park and check into your lodge. Relax as you wait for tomorrow’s activity.

Day 5: Morning game drive and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After having a delicious breakfast in the morning, drive to kasenyi plains found in the Northeastern parts of the park for the morning game drive safari in search for various wildlife species.

The national park is one of Uganda’s most popular national parks and is a habitat for remarkable big game to talk of the big four of big five (leopard, elephant, lion, and buffaloes) .

After the game drive, relax and then head to Bwindi impenetrable forest National Park via Ishasha sector in the southern parts of Queen Elizabeth National Park for a game drive to lookout for the rare tree climbing lions as you proceed with your journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park famous for having half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.

Day 6: Gorilla tracking

The 6th day  tour starts with waking up early in the morning to head to the information offices to be briefed about the trekking experience on how to behave in the presence of mountain gorillas and the expectations.

Do not forget to carry a packed lunch from your lodge, ware long sleeved to avoid stinging needles, good hiking shoes and enough drinking water.

If possible, hire a porter to carry items you will need during the trek. Start with a forest walk in search for endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitats. Once you encounter the mountain gorilla, the beauty these majestic creatures
entail will outweigh all the hardship endured to find them.

Spend an hour with them and capture the unforgettable moments. After the experience, receive a mountain gorilla trekking certificate in appreciation for your contribution towards the conservation of the endangered mountain gorillas in Uganda. Drive to the lake Bunyonyi for relaxation and overnight.

Day 7: Departure
