Established in 1952 and later renamed to honor Queen Elizabeth in 1954 after her visit, the park spans over 1,978 square kilometers.

Queen Elizabeth National Park is often referred to as a “Medley of Wonders” due to its incredible diversity and stunning landscapes. The park boasts a variety of ecosystems, including sprawling savannahs, shadowy moist forests, volcanic craters and fertile wetlands.

This rich biodiversity makes it home to over 95 mammal species, including the famous tree-climbing lions. You will encounter more than 600 bird species in the

4 days adventure. The park’s landscapes, with rolling hills, crater lakes and the scenic Kazinga Channel, offer breathtaking views and a unique safari experience.

Day1: Transfer to Queen and afternoon boat cruise

Early morning pick up from Kampala at your place of convenience by our experienced driver guide for an experimental trip. Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Have a lunch break as you embark for the amazing boat cruise.

A boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, which offers a unique perspective of the park. As you glide along the water, you will see large herds of elephants, buffalo and hippos, all coming to the water’s edge to drink and cool off. The channel is also a haven for birds with over 100 species often spotted during a single cruise.

After the cruise drive to your lodge for relaxation.

Day2: Morning game drive and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After having a delicious breakfast, drive to kasenyi plains. The plain is in the Northeastern parts of the park best spot for viewing various wildlife species. The national park is one of Uganda’s most popular national parks and is a habitat for remarkable big game to talk of the big four of big five (leopard, elephant, lion, and buffaloes) .

Soon after the game drive, relax and then head to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park via Ishasha sector in the southern parts of queen Elizabeth national park for a game drive to lookout for the rare tree climbing lions.

After the drive you will have lunch and then proceed with your journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park famous for having half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.

Day3: Gorilla tracking

The third day of the 4-days tour  starts with waking up very early in the morning. Drive to the information offices to be briefed about the trekking experience on how to behave in the presence of mountain gorillas and the expectations.

Do not forget to carry a packed lunch from your lodge, ware long sleeved to avoid stinging needles, good hiking shoes and enough drinking water.

If possible, hire a porter to carry items you will need during the trek. Start with a forest walk in search for endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitats.

Once you encounter the mountain gorilla, the beauty these majestic creatures entail will outweigh all the hardship endured to find them.

Amazing gorilla experience

Spend an hour with them and capture the unforgettable moments. After the experience, receive a mountain gorilla trekking certificate in appreciation for your contribution towards the conservation of the endangered mountain gorillas in Uganda.

Drive to the lake Bunyonyi for relaxation and overnight.

Day4: Departure

Wake up at leisure and enjoy the morning breakfast. Drive back to Makerere University Kampala. Have a lunch break as you proceed with the journey. Stop over at the Equator for a memorable photo at the place. Have the chance to buy souvenirs.

Our driver guide will drop you off at the place of your convenience either in Kampala or at the airport.
